About Buffa's Dance Company

Buffa’s Dance Company featuring students from Buffa’s Dance Studio is committed to creating dance artists with strong backgrounds in both performance and technique.  Encompassing the genres of jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, modern, ballet and pointe and under the direction of renowned teacher, performer and choreographer, Tom Alexander, BDC creates works of extraordinary artistry that are engaging and uplifting to audiences. The company competes and performs locally and nationally and at annual recitals featuring works by the company director and guest artists.  BDC also creates an annual Choreographer’s Showcase featuring original dance composition work from company members.  In addition to choreography and performance, Buffa’s Dance Company positively impacts children and students through volunteer work with the Burke Civic Ballet’s many fundraisers.  Our multiple award-winning Dance Company, offers our students an extraordinary opportunity to be a part of a pre-professional group with performances, conventions, competitions.  Open by invitation only to selected dancers (grade 7-12) who exhibit above-average facility, talent, dedication, discipline, character, commitment and love for dance.
